Merrimack Valley A Cappella (continued)

We invited Region 1’s Karen Rourke to a rehearsal, and she graciously shared her expertise on what we
might try to make our package really pop. We had lots of fun trying out the ideas that were flowing fast
and furiously.

Perhaps most exciting of all, we’re welcoming new people on the risers! We’ve sung in Kerry Hubbard
(lead), Kim Holland (tenor) and, newly relocated from New York with previous SAI experience, Cheryl
Fierstein (bass). Great to have you all on board!

We can’t wait for the dress rehearsal on April 28 and a friends/family gathering on May 5 to watch our
taping live. And we’re looking forward to more performances; next up is at an assisted living center in
Wilmington, Mass.
