Sound of New England Chorus (continued)
In February we had extensive discussions regarding whether or not to appear live at the Spring Regional
competition. The consensus of the chorus was that we will prepare a video submission for evaluation.
We chose to pull up our ballad and up-tune from the 2019 contest and do some tweaking and polishing
for a video offering. During the next few rehearsals we played with placement of the chorus for sound
and for safety on the rather narrow tiers of stairs in the sanctuary. We are all eager to prepare the video,
and are especially excited for two of our newest members, who have never had the opportunity to
compete as a Sweet Adeline due to the Covid shut down of the past two years. So, kudos to Andrea and
Marinka who have energized all of us with their "newbie" enthusiasm!!
SONE wishes best of luck to the quartets and choruses who will compete in Springfield this May. We
hope you have an absolutely incredible experience and we look forward to 2023 when SONE will be in
the line-up with you!
