Cranberry Shores Chorus

September on Cape Cod is the best month of the year to some. The weather stays warm due to the
warming effect from the warm ocean, the tourists go home and traffic and crowds improve.

Another thing improved in September, too. The Cranberry Shores Chorus got back to in-person rehearsals
-- masked and distanced. What a thrill it was to sing together again! In September we welcomed three
potential new members to new members night, who had been waiting for rehearsals to begin again. And in
October we had a coaching session with Karen Rourke. Karen reminded us that we were her last in-person
coaching session at the start of COVID in March 2020 and now we were her first since then. She helped
us get back to proper posture, placement, and breath control. Our spirits were lifted and we were all very
grateful.
