       Farmington Valley Chorus

       We’re Baaack

We’re so happy to be back in our old rehearsal site. The church we regularly rehearse in redesigned the
sanctuary, the hall and even the parking lot. It is gorgeous (as far as a church hall can be gorgeous) . Newly
painted, new flooring, great lighting, best of all the bathrooms are inside (they were in the hallway not out
outside –brrrrrr) With two new air purifiers coming in I’m thinking those pain-in-the-patootie risers will be
going back up soon and we’ll be back making Cheryl smile with some well tiered chords.

This Christmas season found us back
joyfully singing carols for a variety of

to be our director for the evening.

in their stroll. The next week we
performed outside at the First Annual
Our new rehearsal hall! Avon Winterfest.

Do we look cold and gray? We were cold, until
the sunshine bearing Heidi Zacchera jumped on
that stage and welcomed every kid in Avon to join
us for a sing-a-long. Warmth was
spread throughout the land. Heidi’s version of the
12 Days of Christmas was joyfully anticipated
and participated in by carolers young and old.
The next day we performed outside during the day
at the Hillstead Museum in Farmington for their
Holiday Boutique. Corinna did a fabulous job as
the “thrown into it” director. Best of all – after we
performed we went back in to go shopping for
        mushiginuh hats and biodegradable Swedish
towels. Then mid-December a small group of us Sisters
