Farmington Valley Chorus (continued)

She’s Baaaack
Vickie Mayberry came back for a coaching session. She was with us the day they shut the state down
for the pandemic. Lucky for us she came back in October to finish what she started that Wednesday
night. It was a fun and fabulous day for getting our voices and breathing (really hard to do behind a
mask) techniques back to snuff- or at least closer to what we were before the pandemic. She brought
this cute little air purifier called Puriclenz with her. Her chorus did a lot of research on it and we did
some research too and through her recommendation and blessing our management team bought some.
They are small and can be taken with us to regional and international. They help with allergens in the
air, flu and mold as well. Just right for the rooms we rehearse in. Granted nothing is 100% but
hopefully this will make things safer.

It’s Baaacck

The FVC Awesome Chorister Award made another
appearance and was given to Pat Lary (pictured,
right) – our wonderful and really nosy bass who
delighted us all through the pandemic Zoom
meeting time with her interviews of chorus
members. Her natural curiosity and ease of manner
made us all tell her things about us no one else
knew. It was great anticipation every week for who
was going to be her next “victim”
. Congratulations Pat!
