You don’t have to use semisweet or white chocolate chips for this recipe—a
cup of chopped chocolate will do. But chips are easy to measure and ready
to go.
1. Place the chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over low
heat and stir until the chocolate melts and the glaze comes together, 2 to 3
minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
2. With a soupspoon, drizzle the warm glaze over the cupcakes of your choice in
lines, then switch direction and drizzle in lines again to create a crisscross
pattern.
