Baked Chicken Breasts in Sour Cream

                 Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

                 4                     boneless skinless chicken breast halves
                 1                  c  sour cream, light
                 1                can  mushroom soup, condensed
                 3               tbsp  flour
                 1/2                c  white wine
                 1/2              tsp  salt

               Put chicken in Pyrex baking dish. Mix sour cream, mushroom soup, flour,
               wine & salt.  Pour over breasts.  Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.  First half
               hour covered with foil, last half hour uncovered.  Baste occasionally last
               half hour. Serve with rice.

               NOTES : I got this recipe from Nancy Smith. It was always good,
                       but I haven't fixed it for years. --ch

                       Made this on 1/15/2003.  Very good, tastes a lot like my
                       Alsatian recipe, but much easier to make.  Served it over
                       rice with a fruit salad. Good!
