Train Wreck

1 med onion -- chopped
2 lb ground beef, 4% fat
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1 pkg egg noodles
8 oz cream cheese
16 oz nonfat sour cream
6 green onions
2 c cheddar cheese -- shredded
Chop onion and brown with ground beef in sauce pan. Add spaghetti sauce
and simmer for 30 minutes. Cook noodles as directed. When done, remove
from heat and drain. Rinse with cold water until cool enough to handle.
While noodles are cooking, cut cream cheese into squares and cream in food
processor. Add sour cream. When mixed remove blade and stir in onions.
To assemble, use 11x15 casserole. Put a spoonful of spaghetti sauce
mixture in pan and spread over bottom. Add 1/3 of noodles and spread
evenly. Add 1/3 of beef mixture and spread evenly. Add 1/3 of cream
cheese mixture and spread evenly. Continue layering. You do not have to
be precise with this, no matter how careful, it will still look like a
train wreck. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, until thoroughly hot and cheese is
melted.
