Tamale Pie

                 Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

                 2                 lb  ground beef, 4% fat
                 1                     green pepper -- chopped
                 1                     onion -- chopped
                 1                can  tomatoes -- No. 2 1/2
                 1                  c  cornmeal
                 1                tsp  salt
                 1               tbsp  chili powder -- to taste
                 1                can  creamed corn
                 1                can  olives

               Brown beef, pepper and onion.  Add tomatoes, cornmeal, salt and chili
               powder (I usually put about 3 tbsps) Cook 20 minutes.  Mix corn and olives
               into meat mixture.  Pour into 9x13 pan and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
                Serves 6 to 8.
