Pork Chops Baked in Sour Cream

                 4                     pork chops
                 1/2                c  flour
                 1                tsp  pepper
                 1                tsp  mustard
                 1                tsp  paprika
                 1                tsp  salt
                 1                tsp  marjoram
                 1                tsp  thyme
                 1                tsp  sage
                 1/4                c  water
                 1/3                c  white wine
                 1                     bay leaf
                 2               tbsp  vinegar
                 1               tbsp  sugar
                 1/2                c  sour cream
                 1/4              tsp  savory

               Mix flour and spices.  Dredge pork chops with seasoned flour.  Brown
               lightly in butter, place in a baking dish, sprinkle with more of the flour
               mixture.

               Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over chops.  Add any drippings
               from frying pan.  Cover dish and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for
               40 minutes to 1 hour.

               Serve over noodles.
