Below is a list of some of the expectations for all of us who influence the lives
               of students



               ·         Prepare standards-based daily lesson plans.
               ·         Motivate and interact with students.
               ·         Actively involve students in learning activities.
               ·         Provide extra support and extra challenges to meet the many needs of
               your students.
               ·         Use data provided by SC READY, SCPASS, MAP, Fountas and
               Pinnell, KRA, CogAT/ITBS, and teacher recommendations to prepare
               instruction.
               ·         Prepare students for standardized testing.  We are accountable for our
               test results.
               ·         Provide opportunities for oral and written communication and have
               students speak and write clearly using correct grammar.
               ·         Model writing and require students to write correctly.
               ·         Use as many resources as necessary to supplement our instructional
               program.
               ·         Provide field trips to enhance instruction.
               ·         Invite guest speakers to speak to your class.

               ·         Keep accurate, up to date records on the achievement of your
               students.
               ·         Keep a monthly Parent Contact Log.
               ·         Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievement
               and other concerns through progress reports, notes home, phone calls, class
               newsletters, and homework notes.
               ·         Make children feel loved and worthy at all times.
               ·         Keep current students’ work displayed in the classroom and writing
               samples in the hallways.
               ·         Complete records and reports neatly, accurately, and on time.
               ·         Display a positive and professional attitude at all times.
               ·         Dress in an appropriate, professional manner.
               ·         Show parents that you care about their child.
