Cannons Elementary School celebrated
their Champion Leaders for the week of
October 13.
At Cannons Elementary School, first graders are
discovering how craters are formed on the surface of the
Moon by having meteors (marbles) hit the Moon (flour).
A Cannons Elementary School third grade
student is working on an arts integration
project. He is using his portrait to express Cannons Elementary School
himself.
Converse Fire Fighters, and Sparky, reminded
Cannons Elementary School students to have a
smoke detector in each room of their homes.
They also talked about the importance of making
a safety plan, in case of fire, for two ways to
leave each room of their home.
Fourth grade students at Cannons Elementary School
assess their learning by matching written descriptions to
images of Native American cultural groupings.
Cannons Elementary School
preschoolers learned about fire safety
from the Cowpens Fire Department.
