Preschoolers at Cannons Elementary School
enjoyed pulling the seeds out of a pumpkin and
watching their teacher carve a jack-o-lantern.
They voted to make their jack-o-lantern have a
smiling face!

Middle School of Pacolet

Hanna Webber, an eighth grader at Middle School of
Pacolet, shot 83 at the girls 3A Upper State Golf
tournament at Greenwood Country Club. Hanna will
compete next Monday and Tuesday in the girls 3A

State Tournament at River Falls Plantation Golf Course.

Middle School of Pacolet students in Janice
Baker’s class created book talks about the
books they are currently reading.

Sarah Cosner’s sixth grade students, at
Middle School of Pacolet, were working on
dividing fractions by modeling. Students
used fraction blocks and other manipulatives
to visually help them understand the
concept.

Middle School of Pacolet’s Black
History Club raised monies for St.
Jude Hospital to assist in their
search for a cure for Sickle Cell
Anemia.
