participated with staff and students for Homecoming week’s
Holiday Hump Day.

Homecoming parade was a huge
success with all eight schools in the
district participating!
Cowpens Elementary School Reading
Specialist, Marlene Jacobs, appeared on
the Cougar Morning News to explain the
new reading incentive program. Through
the initiative, students earn books by
reading from a variety of genres each
month.
Cowpens Elementary School second
grader, Miles Witherspoon, practiced Cowpens Elementary School
keyboarding and composition by writing a
letter to a classmate.
Broome High School football players visited
Cowpens Elementary School classes to read to
students and talk with them about working hard to
achieve success.
