STEM/Manufacturing
This two-year program is designed to introduce students to the
exciting world of mechatronics where math and science come to
life. Industries throughout the world are looking for engineers and
technicians that have a wide array of knowledge in the fields of
electronics, computing, and mechanical applications. Advanced
Integrated Technologies will combine all of these categories into
one field of study and will prepare students for entry into careers
where these technological skills are essential. The greatest portion
of time in the classroom will be spent demonstrating industry
related applications that the students are learning.
Courses Offered
Advanced Integrated Technologies I (6210 )
This course will focus on Electrical Components, Electronics, and Industrial Safety.
Advanced Integrated Technologies II (6211 )
This course will focus on Mechanical Components, Electric Drives, Hand and Power
Tools.
Advanced Integrated Technologies III (6212 ) (Honors)
This course will focus on Electro Pneumatics and Hydraulic Systems.
Advanced Integrated Technologies IV (6213 ) (Honors)
This course will focus on Digital Electronics Fundamentals and Programmable
Controllers.
(Prerequisite: Grade of 70 or higher in each Advanced Integrated Technologies course,
or teacher recommendation to advance to next level)
*Two courses can be combined with Intro to Engineering & Principles of
Engineering to be a completer
OSHA 10
HS: A/V Installer, Security System Installer
2-yr: Electronics / Mechatronics / Robotics Technician
4-yr: Electrical/Computer Engineer, Maintenance Manager
