Having started at Provvidence in 20001 as a patient care maanager, Maggie Bruneau’s portfolio greew to
become aa senior leadeership position that includes developingg and sustainning partnershhips in the syystem,
patient floow, nursing pprofessional ppractice and innfection prevvention and coontrol.
Maggie links people aand organizations together in ways that improve system floww. Her teamss help
patients tto transition hhome safely ffrom Providence Hospital,, and with thee right suppoorts, to continnue to
live in theeir own commmunities.
Maggie sstarted her ccareer as a registered nnurse. She hhas a masteer’s of Healtth Science HHealth
Administrration from tthe Institute of Health Poolicy Manageement and EEvaluation at the Universsity of
Toronto aand is a certtified healthccare executivve. Maggie iss an adjunctt lecturer witth the Bloommberg
Faculty off Nursing at thhe University of Toronto.
Beverly BBulmer – Educcation
Bev Bulmer became Stt. Michael’s vvice‐presidentt of Education in 2016 andd the first peerson with a hhealth
discipline background to hold the role at a Toronto academicc institution. Bev is a physsical therapistt with
a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy and a MM.Sc. in Commmunity Healthh, both from the University of Torontoo. Bev
started her clinical caareer at Sunnybrook Heaalth Sciences Centre, mooving to St. MMichael’s Hoospital
Mobility pprogram in 20006. She held the role of ddirector of Heealth Disciplinnes Practice and Educationn prior
to this rolle. In the direector role, she gained a sttrong understtanding of thee practice and education iissues
