Since joinning St. Michael’s Hospital in 2014, Mary has managed the Strrategy and Coorporate Plannning,
Corporatee Communicaations, Medicaal Media and Volunteer Seervices teamss.
An experiienced execuutive able to engage stakeeholders, build trust and create a shaared accountaability
around a strategic plaan, Mary wass previously an executivee vice‐presideent with Infraastructure Onntario
managingg the crown agency’s loan program, commmercial projjects division and communnications teamms.
Mary hass also workeed at variouss federal andd provincial ministries, inncluding Induustry Canadaa, the
Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Ontaario Ministry of Health annd Long‐Termm Care. As chhief of
staff to thhe minister off Health, she managed thee developmeent of transfoormational leggislation relatted to
safe narcootics use, quaality health caare and broadder public secctor accountability.
She holds BA in Political Sciencee from Wilffrid Laurier UUniversity annd a certificcate in markketing
communications from BCIT.

Mary MaccLeod joined St. Joseph’s HHealth Centree in 2014 as thhe vice‐presiddent of Cliniccal Services.
Prior to Stt. Joseph’s, MMary’s experieence includedd roles as vicee‐president off Patient Caree and chief nuursing
executive at Joseph Brrant Hospital,, Burlington; clinical directtor and site aadministratorr for the McMMaster
Universityy Medical Ceentre at Hamilton Health Sciences; a ssecondment to the Minisstry of Healthh and
Long‐Termm Care as thhe project mmanager for tthe Ontario‐wwide Teleheaalth Ontario nurse advicee and
