Dr. Silveirra has a B.Scc. from the University off Waterloo aand an MD ffrom McMaster Universitty. He
completed specialty training in Psycchiatry througgh Universityy of Toronto.
His acadeemic interestss are in knowwledge translaation and eduucation for thhe purpose oof capacity buuilding
in primaryy care.

Dr. Douglas Sinclair – CChief Medicaal Officer and Site Lead forr St. Michael’’s Hospital
Dr. Doug Sinclair hass been the eexecutive vice‐president aand chief medical officer at St. Michael’s
Hospital since 2010. In this rolee, he has haad oversightt of the Innner City Health, Diabetess and

Perioperaative programms and more rrecently, Meddical Imagingg, Laboratory Medicine and Pharmacy aand is
the corpoorate lead for Quality.
He is a grraduate of thee University oof Toronto, hhas completedd residency ttraining in Family Medicine and
Emergenccy Medicine, and spent 222 years in Nova Scotia in aa variety of leeadership poositions in teaaching

hospitals and Dalhousiie University. He is a full pprofessor at UU of T, and to relax, works one day a weeek in
the Emerggency Departtment at St MMichael’s.
