To review the year’s work through activities and questions.
Way to Work (Means)
1. Let the children look through their English files/books to review the year’s work.
2. The children could work through the quiz sheet or it could be done orally. This will be
preparation for their Annual Standardised English Test, e.g. NFER tests (National
Foundation for Educational Research). Some schools may take the national SATS test
earlier in the term.
Learning for Life (Fulfilment)
1. Hopefully, the children will consolidate the grammar and punctuation work covered in
Y5.
