OURTEEN HOURS AND THREE MORE STOPS -- HEEDING YVETTE’S
advice to be safe -- Alonzo makes it safely to Atlanta, GA. He pulls into an
empty stall, kills the ignition, grabs his laptop case, opens the door, and
steps down; then saunters across the parking to the Hotel Lobby. After checking in
and getting to his hotel room, he places a phone call to Yvette and June -- informing
them of his safe arrival to Atlanta. Next, he takes a shower, and retires for the night.
The next morning, Alonzo reviews his emails and voicemail, and heads down
to the lobby for Continental breakfast. After breakfast, he returns to his room, and
follows up with his messages, and dials a number; then waits.
A few rings, “hello,” a female voice answers.
