THE ADMINISTRATOR | 147
The next day – SUNDAY -- Alonzo shaves and cleans up. Then he attends a
church service in Smyrna. Except for the mass, the day’s uneventful. He returns to
the parking Lot in Austell, Georgia, and after circling around for some time, he settles
next to the shipping containers which provide some relief from the hot sun. And he
gathers his documents in preparation for tomorrow’s 341 Meeting.
Much later, he circles back to his favorite spot which provides much privacy
and low traffic. And he retires for the day.
Atlanta, Georgia
RICHARD B. RUSSELL FEDERAL BUILDING
The twenty-six-floor International-style building -- located at the corner of
Mitchell Street SW and Spring Street SW in Atlanta, GA -- is a Federal Building. Alonzo
walks up the stairs from the street and stops when he gets to the top; then waits his
turn at the main entrance.
SECURITY CHECK POINT
Inside, and ahead of him, are two African-American males -- Tyrone, from his
name tag -- appears to be in his 30’s and wearing black wool suite and red tie. The
other, early 40’s, looks like he missed a shave this morning, presenting factory-style
apparel and footwear. And, there is Jennifer, early 30’s, Caucasian, wearing a red
cotton dress and a pair of black boots with heels. She’s attractive -- like a model --
auditioning for a lead role.
Good morning, Sir. The first Security Officer motions Alonzo, “Please, step
forward.”
