information, including items, specifications and Alonzo’s relocation address.
Alonzo reviews the document, signs it and, “here you go, Todd,” handing the
clipboard back.
“Thank you. We’ll see you tomorrow in Lafayette at 12:00 Hours.”
“Looking forward to it, Todd.”
“Thank you again for your business, Mr. Thomas.”
“You’re quite welcome,” extending his right hand.
Todd takes and shakes his hand; then takes his leave to join his three
associates who are waiting in the truck.
Alonzo closes and locks the door behind him. Sauntering down the hall to the
west-wing window, he catches sight of the 26-foot truck -- pulling away -- and driving
toward the gates; then disappearing behind the corner of the window. He turns
around, takes a few steps forward -- staring -- at the empty walls and floors, and he
folds his arms in self-assurance; then allows an unrestrained grin as he takes one
more walk-through across the living room to his bedroom.
Moments later, he walks out of his bedroom with his laptop briefcase in one
hand and pulling one of 3-piece Spinner charcoal luggage set with the other hand. He
takes the stairs down to the garage. Closing the door behind him, he safely descends
to the one-car garage, unlocks the 2013 gray Jeep, lays down his black garment suit
cover on the back seat, and later the laptop case. He closes the door, opens the
