Investment and responsibilities
Investment in time of digital program specialist (35 – 50% average) and IT/systems
resource (25% average) for training/configuring system and testing with
students/teachers/volunteers; and participating in working meetings.
Investment and responsibilities by member country and ROC
• Identification of funding for program digitization, translation and adaptation
• 2-year production commitment.
• USD $5,000 per member country/ROC per year to access JA USA’s blended
learning programs, with continued and unlimited access to the LMS platform and
blended learning programs (not on a per seat basis). Total financial commitment
is USD $10,000 per country payable to JA Worldwide.
Investment and responsibilities by JA Worldwide
• Provide guidance to members delivering programs via the LMS, including
implementation timeline and resource allocation.
• Coordinate periodic meetings via Zoom to ensure member objectives are being
met and resources are available to keep projects on track
• Oversee system and program governance, provide ongoing support, and ensure
adherence to GDPR privacy requirements
• Payment to JA USA of license fees, including subsidy for each participating
member country.
• Provide an operating and financial framework for continued use of the LMS
platform in conjunction with JA USA post June 30, 2021.
