CrossKnowledge LMS
It is highly recommended countries have an IT or LMS specialist available on average 25% of
the time to support and administrate the LMS.
6. Can I upload or create my own content and programs?
Yes, you may create your own programmatic content and upload to the LMS platform. The LMS
supports imports as well as providing its own free development application, Mohive. There is no
additional cost.
7. Is there a limit to the number students that can access the LMS to
use its content?
There is no limit to the number of students that can be enrolled in courses in the LMS.
8. Can JA students access any available digital programs on the
LMS?
While there are options available for self-enrollment, the LMS is not intended to support MOOC
(massive, open online courses) and must have some oversight and management by each
member to ensure JA reaches its target audience for each course.
9. Is there an alternative solution for delivery to students when
internet access is not an option at the schools?
Yes, it is possible to project the content on a screen from a teacher/volunteer laptop which has
been pre-loaded with content.
