As part of the President’s weekend, the Kent “A” team played England at the Northampton In-
doors Bowls Club. This invitation was given to celebrate the Kent 'A' teams second successive
Inter County Competition victory in two years. This was Kent's sixth time on the “A” team Cham-
pionship Cup and the 13th time that Kent has won an Inter County Championship. On the day
Kent finished second to England, however we racked up a very credible 20 points to 12 points
defeat after 16 games and 32 possible points.
I would like to take this opportunity as the Kent Squad Manager to thank the A team and
the wider squad once again for their dedication to the sport, for their fine efforts and results
during the last two seasons. They have continued that original 'die hard spirit' that has allowed
our county to grow and develop into what it is today. It is my pleasure to be part of the Kent
story and be part of this team, I know our players look forward to the start of the 2014/15 cam-
paign. We hope to at least match last year's record which including a \premier semi-final and
             an A team victory.
