The mixed pairs saw Colin Pike and 19
Lesley Parkes in action again, against
strong opposition from John Sutheran &
Audrey Low. After a quiet start, John & Au-
drey proved too strong for their opponents
and eventually ended as worthy winners by
11 - 5 in 10 ends.
In the mixed singles Roy Facey faced
very strong opposition from Richard Ed-
wards who had already won this competi-
tion in 2011 and 2013. Richard took charge
right from the first end and kept a clean

Shirley Woods were runners up in the
league. The two teams are link to play
in the Barry Rainbow Trophy, with a
player from each team making a Pair.
This year 20 players formed 10
teams.
The first semi-final saw Chris

The second semi proved to be a titanic struggle. Paul
Cotterill & Sandra Hateley struck first with an open-
ing two but by end eight Richard Edwards & Cliff Low
led 9 - 3 after scoring six shots over three ends.
