lan & Holland taking the game 14-10; this meant both teams tying on 15 points but Whelan &
Holland held a 7 shots lead. The third game saw Whelan & Holland play Archie & Wyn Collister
and with 2 ends to go lead 8-3 but the Collister’s then hit some devastating form to take a 3 and
a 2 to draw 8-8.
Keggan & Gale played Ann Hollingworth & Rita Woodworth losing the first 3 ends but the
changed up a gear to come out 14-3 and take the title. They finished on 18 points with runners
up Whelan & Holland on 16 and in 3rd. place on 1 behind at 15 was Brew & Chris Holland.

This event was contested by just 5 Teams in a round Robin. The first round saw Matt Quayle,
Eddie Brew & Stephen Gale beat Ray Hands, David Cottier & Seamus Whelan 16-2. Clare Hus-
sain, Chris & Collin Hollland beat Carol Kaye, Rita Woodworth & Ann Hollingworth 11-9. In the
second round Gale's team beat Ann Gale, Richard Faragher & Dave McTaggart 10-4. With the
Holland's beating Whelan's 9-4.
During the third round McTaggarts beat the Holland's 9-4 and Whelan's beat Hollingworth's
9-3. Subsequent rounds saw Gale's trio beating Hollingworth's triple 11-7. McTaggart's beat
Whelan's side 7-6. McTaggart's beat Hollingworth's 16-6 and Holland's beat gales 14-3. So with
3 Teams on 3 wins each it went down to chalks with the Ballaugh Trio of Ann Gale, Richard
Faragher & Dave McTaggart taking the trophy by 2 chalks from Gale's Side with the Holland
side 2 chalks in 3rd. place.
