BUCKHORN WESTON - 10 YEARS
AT THE LANGSTONE CLIFF HOTEL
AT THE LANGSTONE CLIFF HOTEL
It hardly seems like 10 years but a full decade has passed
with Buckhorn West having their annual “Jolly” at the ever
popular Langstone Cliff Hotel in Dawlish Warren in South
Devon.
Val Whatmore has been
the clubs organiser for all of
those 10 years and is seen
here blowing out the candles
on the anniversary cake.
Having done stalwart
work, Val has now passed the
baton to Edwin Trevorrow, who
will now organise the clubs tours.
Matches are played with teams coming to the hotel for a day’s play. Next year’s date is
the 3rd - 7th February and individual players couples or groups are welcome to come and join
the tour and stay for the Monday to Friday break. At that time there are no single supplements
and as usual there is a pre-dinner drink served every evening. Want to join the “jolly” or know
more? Contact Bob Weafer on 0121 - 286 - 9449.
