Introduction
The Growth Opportunities for Leadership Development (GOLD) Program paves the
path for recent college graduates from various fields to enter into the exciting utility
industry. During the program, the GOLD Associates work in various organizations to
broaden their understanding of the Company’s numerous functionalities and
businesses. They have the unique opportunity to solve complex problems and
supervise direct reports early in their careers, which enables their leadership
development. Beyond the confines of the workday, the GOLD Associates engage in
community activities as they volunteer to improve the communities serviced by Con
Edison.
Each of the cohort’s 26 members brings a unique perspective to the company. They
have impressive backgrounds including engineering, business, mathematics, and
computer science. The 2018 GOLD Cohort graduated from the program in
December 2019, and its members will continue to be a force of change in the ever
shifting utility industry.
