         ⇒  SCIENTIFIC NAME;Grewia flavescens



         ⇒  DISCRIPTION;This is a scrambling multi-
            stemmed shrub. Older stems are

            characteristically four-angled
            (rectangular). Leaves are covered

            with harsh hairs (hence giving the
            feel of sandpaper) and have irregularly toothed margins. The fruit is 2-4-lobed

            and yellowish brown when ripe



         ⇒  USES; The leaves are browsed by game and livestock. The wood is

         ⇒  very tough and is commonly used to make walking sticks and bows.
