Here is a longer-term solution for stiff lines that can’t be coiled in the Strength
usual manner. If the rope is too stiff to wrap around itself as shown, stops Security
can be made from twine and tied at intervals around the coil. Either way, Diffi culty Tying

this is the best way to store thick lines which aren’t in regular use,

1 Coil the line in the usual way, 2 Wrap the ends around the coil, 3 Once the coil is fully wrapped, tie
