          SCHOOL DISCIPLINE POLICY: (RULES AND  REGULATIONS)
          The aim of the school is not only to impart knowledge and promote academic excellence,
          but also to develop the personality and character of the students. The school also aims
          to inculcate qualities/values of honesty, loyalty, responsibility, respect, sinceritycand
          obedience in all students and to prepare them as ideal citizens of the country.
          All students are therefore, expected to follow the school discipline policy (rules and
          regulations) laid down by the school, and conduct themselves in a disciplined manner.
          Failure to abide by the school discipline will be dealt according to the school’s Discipline
          Policy laid as offences and sanctions
          General Rules

          a.  Students should always be in proper school uniform during school hours and other
             school functions, unless they are instructed otherwise (Willingness to adapt to
             rules).
          b.  Students must wear  Kabney/Rachu during assembly every Monday. All must
             continue wearing their Kabney/Rachu till they reach their respective classes after
             the assembly (Respect/Willingness to adapt to rules).
          c.  Punctuality for all school activities  such  as assembly, classes, games, SUPW,
             house competitions, etc. is a must (Punctuality).
          d.  Students should take  proper care  of all  school properties  including  classroom
             furniture, electrical fittings, and others. Anyone found indulging in any form of
             vandalism will be dealt with according to the sanctions (Civic Sense).
          e.  Gambling of any sort is strictly prohibited (Willingness to adapt to rules).
          f.  Possession of any item, like chains, knives, knuckle dusters, blades, etc. which
             could be used as weapon, is prohibited in the school (Willingness to adapt to
             rules).
          g.  Students are expected to maintain proper decorum. Therefore, uncivil behaviour
             like cacophony and hooliganism in the school premises is prohibited (Civic Sense/
             Respect for others).
          h.  Students  forming  groups and holding  meetings  for ulterior  motives  would be
             considered as ganging up and a serious offence (Willingness to adapt to rules).
          i.  Once in school, students will have to compulsorily speak in English or Dzongkha.
          j.  Cheating in the examinations is a serious offence and is dealt with according to the
             school’s discipline policy under academic integrity policy (Honesty & Integrity).
          k.  Bringing Mobile  Phones, iPods, MP3s, videotapes,  transistors, CD/DVD
             players, cameras, cheap literature and comics to the school is strictly prohibited
             (Willingness to adapt to rules).
          l.  Students may play during breaks only in the respective play fields and not in the
             classrooms and corridors (Willingness to adapt to rules).
          m.  Students should not scribble on the walls of the school buildings, furniture, steps,
             and roads. Graffiti is a serious offence and liable for punishment (Civic Sense).
          n.  All vehicles coming to reach and take students must terminate at the school gate
             below MPH or the gate above campus I at a considerable distance without posing
