An Ideal Teacher Is Critically
Conscious, Socially Just And
Inclusive Of All Children
According to the education white paper 6, inclusion is about
acknowledging that all children and youth can learn
acknowledging that all children and youth need support. An ideal
teacher is inclusive and critically conscious of different learners in
their class.
An ideal teacher is able to include learners equally even with those
labelled as repeaters, acknowledging that every learner can learn,
every learner is capable and all learners have different ways of
learning.
Providing support where necessary during lessons by making use
of group activities and extending a helping hand by addressing
misconceptions and problems. As such by doing so, you are giving
learners equal opportunities of succeeding.
