Psalm 16:11
“You make known to me the path of life; you fill me with joy in your presence; with eternal
pleasures at your right hand.”
When we praise the Lord, his presence is welcomed into our lives. And as the verse above
says, there is joy in His presence! Are you having a bad day? Are you depressed or even just
bored? Praise the Lord! Thank Him for who He is and how He has blessed your life! This may
not change your situation right away, but it certainly will change your mood. Don’t let any
negativity you’re experiencing get you into a mood that will make your whole day go bad. A day
could turn into a week, even months! Choose joy today. Turn on some worship music, raise
your voice, and praise Jesus! If you’re not in an environment where you can praise Him out loud
(maybe at work or school), write down your praises to the Lord; or think of them in your head.
