Don’t Let Condemnation Steal Your Joy!

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1 (NIV)

The devil tries his hardest to steal my joy. And I know I’m not the only one! If he can’t take away
your salvation (Praise Jesus for the finished work of the cross!), he will do his best to take your
joy. This is another reason why it is important to know what the Word of God says. “Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or
nakedness or danger or sword? I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor
anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:35, 38-39 (NIV) The enemy knows the word of God. We must know
it too and know the power we possess through the authority given us through Jesus’ shed
blood. Don’t fall prey to the enemy’s battle scheme of condemnation. When you fail, in your
weakness, come before the Father in the name of Jesus, acknowledge your sin, repent and
receive forgiveness! Rejoice in that forgiveness and move forward, knowing that you have the
victory in Christ, brothers and sisters.
