Day 5
When life gets hard, pray harder! Stay in prayer!
Let’s face it. Not every day is going to be filled with joy, hope, and motivation. There are things
you can do to create an environment of life to cultivate joy. But life is unpredictable. If you have
a death in your family, or if you lose your job, or if you have a cancer diagnosis, I don’t expect
you to be filled with joy at the prospect of not knowing what you’re going to do in those
circumstances. Even Jesus wept and experienced sorrow! But He knows just what you are
going through and you can find peace knowing that He has the answer to your situation! Stay in
your prayer closet and pour out your heart to the Lord when you don’t know what you’re going to
do. He will supply the answer to the question: “What do I do now?” Take that step and trust Him
that everything is in His hands, He’s got the control over the situation and He has the best for
you!
“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have
one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin.” - Hebrews 4:15
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds.” -
James 1:2
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God.”- Philippians 4:6.
