KSLLC – RFP QUESTIONNAIRE – HELP TEXT



                       Oklahoma schools and libraries: For funding from the Oklahoma Universal Services
                       Fund (OUSF), school or library beneficiaries may not specify the type of technology
                       desired.


                          •   OUSF requires school applicants to specify a minimum and maximum bandwidth
                              at standard service provider levels based on SETDA standards.

                          •  OUSF school applicants - best practice is to include the following standard
                              bandwidth levels if they fall within your selected bandwidth range: 56 kbps, 1.5
                              Mbps, 5 Mbps, 10 Mbps, 25 Mbps, 50 Mbps, 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps, 250 Mbps,
                              300 Mbps, 400 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 750 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 2 Gbps, 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps,
                              7.5 Gbps, 10 Gbps and 25 Gbps.
                          •   Libraries must specify a minimum and maximum bandwidth at standard service
                              provider levels based on FCC recommendations: at least 100 Mbps for libraries
                              that serve fewer than 50,000 people; at least 1 Gbps for libraries that serve 50,000
                              people or more.

               312. Internet On-Premise Equipment


                       If you already own your on-premise equipment such as a router and do not need to lease
                       any equipment please answer no.   This will be for equipment that your Internet Service
                       Provider will install on your property.  The equipment is owned by the service provider
                       and is always leased.  The school or library cannot own the equipment or purchase it
                       later.

               345. DSL Internet Service

                       Enter the location, quantity , minimum and maximum bandwidth levels for digital
                       subscriber line (DSL) accounts accounts requested.


               350. Cable Internet Access

                       Cable Internet is Internet Access provided over a cable television line. Enter the location,
                       quantity , minimum and maximum bandwidth levels for cable Internet Access accounts
                       requested.

               401. Network Solution


                       Enter “Yes” if you are looking for one service provider to provide all of the services in
                       the network category. If you enter "YES", you may disqualify bidders for an incomplete
                       bid if they do not respond to all items listed in the network section.
