Recording Payments in WebPT
Recording Credit Card, Cash, & Check Payments

All patient payments for copays, deductibles, coinsurances, and bill payments must be recorded
in their WebPT chart in order to “flow over” to the billing company and be applied to their
account.

There are a couple of ways to access a patient’s chart and record a payment, including:
1. Clicking directly on the patient’s name from the schedule.
2. Performing an Advanced Search for the patient’s name and chart (remember to set
Patient Status to All to include any discharged patients).

To enter a payment from the WebPT schedule:
Click on the patient's name and the Edit Appointment box will pop up - click Payment.
