                              KEVIN FERRIS


                              Director, Quantitative Analysis
                              During  the  winter,  the  Angels  hired  Kevin  Ferris  as  the  Club's  Director
                             of Quantitative Analysis. He joins the Halos after serving as a research and
                             development  assistant  in  the  Tampa  Bay  Rays'  Analytics  Department  since
                             August of 2015.  In his current role, Ferris will work closely with GM Billy Eppler
                             and the baseball operations' staff focusing on a variety of analytical initiatives
              and statistical modeling.                                             front office
               Ferris, 28, grew up in Montana and earned both a bachelor of science (mathematics & science)
              and a master’s degree (statistics) from Montana State University-Bozeman.  He also worked at the
              university as a graduate teaching assistant (Aug. 2013 - May 2015).
               Before graduation in 2015, Ferris spent time as an intern for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL)
              in Pasadena, CA during the summer of 2012.  In 2014, he got his start in Major League Baseball as a
              baseball operations intern for the Philadelphia Phillies.
                              BERNARD LI

                              Director, Sports Science & Performance / Head Physical
                              Therapist
                              Bernard Li begins his ninth season with the Angels, third as Director of Sports
                             Science & Performance/Head Physical Therapist. In his role, he leads the Angels
                             Player  Performance  Department  supervising  athletic  medicine,  strength  and
                             conditioning, and sports nutrition.  He also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the
              University of Southern California’s Division of Bio-kinesiology and Physical Therapy Department.
               Li received his Bachelor of Science in Physiology with minor in Exercise and Health Science from UC
              Santa Barbara and obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. Li
              continued to distinguish himself by completing an orthopedic residency to obtain a Graduate Certificate in
              Orthopedic Physical Therapy at USC the following year.
               He is double board certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, both as an Orthopedic
              Clinical Specialist and a Sports Clinical Specialist. He is a member of the Orthopedic Section and the Sports
              Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition, Li is a licensed athletic trainer.
               Li has lectured on numerous topics that include therapeutic exercise, shoulder assessment, hamstring
              preventive programs, and hip rehabilitation, and has published several journal articles and book chapters.
               He resides in Playa Vista, California with his wife, Rachel.
                              RYAN CROTIN

                              Director, Performance Integration

                              Ryan Crotin is in his third season with the Angels, first as the Director of Performance
                             Integration.  In his role, Ryan provides quality control for all performance processes
                             across departments to ensure that that the organization executes a thorough process
                             in monitoring athletes, communicating interdepartmentally and implementing
                             an evidence-based performance plan to serve players’ competitive needs.  In the
                             previous two seasons, Crotin held the position of Player Performance Coordinator
              overseeing the minor league strength and conditioning platform, contributing to sport science efforts and
              amateur player procurement.
               Prior  to  joining  the  Angels,  Ryan  was  a  post-doctoral  fellow  for  Penn  Medicine  in  the  Department  of
              Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  There, he was a major contributor
              in developing the Penn Throwing Clinic, a research and public biomechanics offering designed to assess the
              pitching delivery and orthopedic functionality from youth level athletes through to professional ranks.
               Crotin received his doctoral degree in Exercise Science with a dual concentration in Exercise Physiology
              and Biomechanics.  Ryan has authored peer-reviewed publications related to baseball training methodology,
              biomechanical compensation in pitchers, kinathropometrics and injury epidemiology.  Ryan is also credentialed
              by  the  National  Strength  and  Conditioning  Association  (NSCA)  as  a  Certified  Strength  and  Conditioning
              Specialist (CSCS).
               His greatest accomplishment to date is being married to the former Samantha Belin and being the proud
              father of his son Casey Crotin.  He resides with his family in Phoenix, Arizona.
