Employees share the cost of their health benefits with the Company. Participation in
our health benefits is voluntary and is effective on the first day of the month following

Under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Company’s Standard Measurement Period for

determining eligibility for the medical plan will be December 1 – November 30 . All
new hires will be measured for 12 months from their date of hire and if eligible, there is
a thirty (30) day administrative period in which the employee will be notified that he/she
will be enrolled, and then the employee will be enrolled into the medical plan.
EMPLOYEE MEALS
Beverages, including soft drinks, tea or water are supplied throughout an employee’s
scheduled work shift at no charge. One “free meal” is provided per scheduled shift as
part of the employee meal plan. A meal is one entree and one side. Milk shakes and
lemonade are not part of the meal options. If an employee works longer than a ten (10)
hour shift, a second “free meal” will be provided.
If an employee meal is purchased in excess of this benefit during a scheduled shift, a
receipt must be available upon request by the Manager on duty.
EMPLOYEE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
To encourage continued, college level education, employees of the Drive Thru are
eligible to apply for a one-time, individual scholarship of $1,000. To qualify, you must
complete two continuous years of service and be enrolled in college full time with a
minimum of 9 units. For more information about this program, please contact one of the
members of our leadership team.
HOLIDAYS
Due to the nature of the restaurant business you may be required to work holidays. It is
currently our policy to close the Restaurant for business on the following holidays:
Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Salaried employees will be compensated for
holidays that fall during their normal workweek.
VACATION
All full-time employees are eligible for five (5) days (one workweek) of vacation per year.
Employees are considered full-time for purposes of vacation entitlement if they work 30
hours or more of work per week. Vacation accrues per pay period. Vacation will accrue
