appropriate shelter,  program or crisis center, obtain  psychological counseling, or
               participate in safety planning, such as permanent or temporary relocation.    The
               Company may require proof of the employee’s participation in these activities.  When
               possible, reasonable notice must be given to your supervisor or manager before taking
               any time off for these activities.  Amy’s Drive Thru will, to the extent possible, maintain
               the confidentiality of an employee requesting leave under this provision.
               Leave for this purpose is unpaid.  Accrued Paid Sick Leave and accrued vacation may
               be used for this purpose.  Leave for this purpose does not extend the time allowable
               under the FMLA policy contained in this Handbook.

               CRIME VICTIMS’ LEAVE


               Leave For Judicial Proceedings Related To A Crime

               Employees who are victims of a crime or whose immediate family member (i.e., spouse,
               child or stepchild, sibling or step-sibling; parent or stepparent) is a crime victim may take
               time  off work to appear in court to attend judicial proceedings related to that  crime,
               provided that the time off from work is used to attend judicial proceedings related to a
               violent felony, serious felony or felony theft or embezzlement.
               Prior to taking leave, you must provide your supervisor or manager with a copy of the
               notice of each scheduled proceeding, which has been provided to you by the pertinent
               government agency.

               Leave For Any Proceeding Involving Victim’s Rights

               Employees who are crime victims of certain covered offenses or the spouses, parents,
               children, siblings or guardians of crime victims of such covered offenses may take time
               off work upon request to appear in court to be heard at any proceeding in which a right
               of the victim is at issue.

               A victim  for this  purpose is defined as any person who suffers  direct or  threatened
               physical, psychological, or financial harm as a result of the commission or attempted
               commission of a crime or a delinquent act.

               You must provide the Company with reasonable advance notice of your intention to take
               time off.
               Crime Victims’ Leave is unpaid.  You may use accrued sick time or vacation for this
               purpose, as well as unpaid leave time.   The Company  will, to the extent  possible,
               maintain the confidentiality of an employee requesting leave under this provision.
