Introduction


            Lake and Co was established in 2008 by my wife and I. Whilst there were other companies in the market,
            many worked with a single focus of either sales, letting or acquisition with only a couple offering a combined
            or multi directional approach.

            The financial crisis created a quantum shift in the market, as previously accepted corporate structures
            ceased to be affective, requiring large companies to scale back and restructure to survive. This in turn
            created a desire in the market to explore more wholistic and personal relationships with smaller companies.
            This combined with an investor need to have money invested in tangible assets that had stable origins and
            steady predictable returns.

            whether it was a new home or investment Central London property is often seen as safe haven and with
            most of the worlds wealth looking for this type of asset combined with London’s seemingly impervious
            international appeal it made for the perfect time to start our firm.
            Prior to this we worked for some of the most recognised real estate brands in central London, as sales
            negotiators and sales managers.  We have been involved in thousands of transactions over the years and
            understand how to maximise value along with being able to see the bigger picture. This has helped us ensure
            consistent market beating results for our clients.  Building on this experience we have sought to create a
            unique company that can provide a discrete client‐led personal service for a select few.
            Lake & Co is a small, tenacious and entrepreneurial team of six people, that includes a researcher, a property
            manager, an analyst and an interior designer, alongside myself and my assistant.  We bring a distinct blend
            of capabilities that ensure a balanced and focussed approach to every project.  The support of such a
            competent team allows me, as Managing Director, to remain personally involved with each project, offering
            a consistent focus on the challenges our clients may be facing and a direct line of report to someone who
            knows the details of their individual requirements.  We have grown organically over the last nine years in
            order to retain our personal style and commitment to providing exclusive, responsive and tailored services.
            We are an entirely referral based company and are extremely proud of our reputation for providing a service
            that is as unique as our clients themselves.

            Our clients range from heads of industry to the ruling classes.  We work with a limited number of clients and
            their projects at any one time so we can maintain a consistently high‐level of service.  We look after your
            assets and invest your money as though it were our own and continually monitor and optimise the
            investment strategy and our client’s needs.

            Lake & Co will undertake any and all works relating to property, from initial appraisal of a purchase or
            investment, through to purchase, redevelopment, sale, and ongoing asset management.  Our depth of
            industry experience and relationships enables us to instruct the appropriate professionals to ensure our
            clients receive the best value, advice and service in class.

            Lake & Co have established relationships with market leading service providers, but we are not affiliated
            with any other company, so our loyalty and focus is always with our clients.  The advice we provide takes
            account of both long and short‐term factors and is intended to provide our clients with clarity.  As a result,
            we have an ever expanding, loyal and trusting client base that continues to enjoy our ability to manage all
            aspects of their property investments. Our only mark of success is measured by our client’s satisfaction and
            continued patronage.
