salary meet all the requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor’s regulations. In general,
an exempt Team Member is one who is paid on a salary basis at not less than $679 per
week who holds an administrative, professional, or management position. Certain outside
salespersons and a few other job categories may also be exempt.
Non-Exempt Team Member:
Salaried Team Members who are not administrative, professional, or managerial Team
Members (as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor) and many hourly Team Members are
generally not exempt from the FLSA’s overtime provisions.
Full-Time Team Members:
Full-time Team Members are those who are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours
per week that are not hired on a temporary basis.
Part-Time Team Members:
Part-time Team Members are those who are regularly scheduled to work fewer than 30
hours per week that are not hired on a temporary basis.
Temporary Team Members:
Temporary Team Members are hired for an interim period, usually to fill in for vacations,
leaves of absence, or projects of a limited duration.
Seasonal Team Members:
Seasonal Team Members are those hired into a position for which the customary annual
employment is 6 months or less.
Employment of Minors
Due to the nature of our business, iFLY sets a minimum age for employment at 18.
Anniversary Date
The Team Member’s date of hire is his or her official employment anniversary date. Team
Members who leave iFLY, but who are rehired within ninety (90) days of their separation
date, retain their original hire date. Team Members who leave iFLY and are rehired more
than ninety (90) days later, will have their rehire date as their employment anniversary date.
Introductory Period
It is expected that all new Team Members will go through an initial period of adjustment in
order to learn about iFLY, its operating procedures and about their individual job.
