Anthem | Resource Advisor Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through Anthem Blue Cross provides you and your household members with free,
confidential assistance to help with personal or professional problems that may interfere with work or family responsibilities
and obligations. Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a toll-free nationwide number. You and your house-
hold members can receive up to 3 counseling sessions.
Areas frequently addressed by the EAP can include:
• Child care and parenting
• Helping aging parents
• Financial issues
• Legal concerns
• Work and career
• Emotional well-being
• Addiction and recovery
• Wellness and prevention
• Concierge and convenience services
• Life events
Helping employees find balance
Employees and their family members will have free and confidential access to extensive work/life resources through the
online Resource Advisor website, including:
• Community resources
• Child and elder care provider databases
• Consumer education and services
• Parenting information and services
• Tips on dealing with emotions
• Advice on handling difficult life events, like losing a loved one
• Online financial calculators and tools
• Self-assessments
• Online legal tools and library
