Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Coast Sign provides all employees with a free confidential Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
through Cigna. The EAP provides resources for the resolution of many personal and professional
concerns, such as depression, anxiety, resiliency or stress, parenting childcare and eldercare
issues, financial concerns, life changes, relationship issues, balancing work and home.
Program features:
• 3 face-to-face sessions with a counselor for short-term problem resolution
• Telephone access to Masters’ and PhD level counselors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Telephonic and on-line referrals for life events including child/elder care, pet care, legal
services and financial issues
• Up to 60% discounts on health and wellness products and services through Cigna’s Healthy
Rewards® discount program
• Online library of downloadable educational materials and tools

Voluntary Accident
Coast Sign offers you the opportunity to purchase Voluntary Accident insurance at group
discounted rates, through Unum. This plan is designed to help covered employees meet the
out-of-pocket expenses and extra bills that can follow an accidental injury, whether minor or
catastrophic. Benefit payments may be made for emergency room care, doctor office visits and
physical therapy. In major accidents, benefits for catastrophic accident and accidental death
may be payable. The accident base plan is guaranteed issue, so no health questions are
required. If elected, a schedule of benefits will be provided by Unum.
Voluntary Critical Illness
Coast Sign offers you the opportunity to purchase Voluntary Critical Illness insurance at group
discounted rates, through Unum. Specified critical illness insurance is designed to help
employees offset the financial effects of a catastrophic illness with a lump sum benefit if an
insured individual is diagnosed with the first occurrence of a covered specified critical illness.
Covered conditions are heart attack, stroke, major organ transplant, permanent paralysis, end-
stage renal (kidney) failure and the need for coronary artery bypass surgery. Also included in the
Critical Illness program is a health screening benefit that pays an employee $50 for conducting a
qualified preventative care visit.
