NOTE: Did you know that the word WORRY actually comes from a
word that means, “to choke”? Interesting, isn’t it?

Now that you are more assertive and able to say “NO” if you so choose, the next
detour on the road to a more satisfying life is to eliminate worry. That’s right.
Eliminate it!! Exterminate it!! Eradicate it!! You can do it!! Let’s face it, if you’ve
made it this far in your journey toward a more positive and rewarding life, you can go
the distance. And this next step is an easy one.
Are you the kind of person that tends to worry too much about every little thing? Do
you consider and reconsider events and ideas until you've made your self sick? Do
you worry yourself in to frenzy needlessly even though you know you shouldn’t?
Does your worry overwhelm you at times or even consume you? Does it sometimes
eat away at the very fibre of your being causing you physical discomfort or pain?
If you've answered, "yes" to even one of these questions, I may be able to help you.
Finally, you will no longer have to be the victim of unnecessary worry or fretfulness.
Worry is an unhealthy and completely destructive habit.
But, because it is something you taught yourself to do, it is entirely possible to teach
yourself not to do it, too. Remember, YOU can change any attitude or bad habit you
want to. All you have to do is BELIEVE you can. So what do you say we start
breaking this bad habit right away?
Because worry can often lead to physical illness in some people, it is essential that you
put as much effort as possible in to retraining yourself NOT to worry. After all, it is
said that worry is the most subtle yet destructive of the disease know the human race.
Because of its’ subtlety and its’ destructiveness, we will take great care in assuring that
we rid ourselves of this nasty habit.
