Now you have an alternative approach that you can use when dealing with any
                   feelings of regret.  As well, you have created a positive plan for the future instead of
                   dwelling on the negativity from the past.



                   In the future, whenever you find yourself faced with feelings of regret, use this exercise
                   to eliminate it by replacing regretful thoughts with the “when… then…” approach.

                          5. When _________________________ then _____________________________.
                          6. When _________________________ then _____________________________.

                   Affirmation is an especially effective tool in this process as well.  State aloud what you
                   plan  to  do.  When  affirming  yourself,  remember  to  repeat  the  applicable  phrase  as
                   many times as you must until you truly believe it.

                                            Keep in mind these key words:

                                          I AM            I CAN                I WILL
                                                I KNOW         I BELIEVE


                   Use the previous exercise along with the above phrases to transform any feelings of
                   regret you may have had in to concrete goals to strive for in the future.
