Please Allow Me to Introduce My Self.

My name is Lori-ann and I at the time of writing this, I was a 31 year-old single mother of
two young children. Like many people, I have been on a seemingly eternal quest to make
sense of my life and find a deeper meaning or a greater significance of the path I have

chosen for my self. No matter which way I turn or which road I ultimately decide to
travel, I keep ending up in the same destination. All roads seem to land me here, back to
the beginning of my journey, with none other than my Self.

This has caused me to form somewhat of a philosophical opinion of my life, my destiny
and my future. I have come to realise that individuals search the world over in an attempt
to find answers to their personal dilemmas and reveal a deeper meaning in their life when
all they truly need to do to unveil the answers they desire is look within their own hearts
and listen to the silent voices of their souls.

Because I was a single mother of two school-aged children, I wholeheartedly agree with
Oprah Winfrey's estimation that being a parent is the hardest job in the world. I also
believe, however, that parenthood is the most rewarding job on Earth. For this reason, I
am currently unemployed, as I prefer to stay home and raise my two small children by

myself rather than pay a day care provider to do it for me.

I feel that the care of my family is my responsibility and my children deserve to have my

undivided attention for the short time that they need it while they are growing up. I have
made this decision in the hopes of giving my kids the stability and emotional support they
will need to grow up to be mature, self-confident and loving adults.
