This realisation has given me knowledge and an understanding that I feel fortunate to be
able to share with others who may be facing similar situations.
I have compiled some of the most important lessons I have learned over the years in this
self-help book called “Creative Thinking”. It is a Workbook and guide that addresses such
issues as the power of positive thinking and the harmful effects of negativity as well as
several other aspects of being in control of your own destiny. I firmly believe that each
and every one of us, with no exceptions, can do Anything she wants to do. There are NO
boundaries. As long as you truly believe in your self anything is possible. If you can
dream it, you can do it!
Although the majority of the ideas I present in Creative Thinking seem very much common
sense to me now, it is surprising and heartbreaking just how little self-worth a person has
after suffering abuse of any sort. For this reason alone, I feel it is of utmost importance to
ensure that I do whatsoever is in my power to try and help others who may be in
situations of abuse neglect or mistreatment that they feel they deserve or are unable to
get out of.
Simply realising that I am a unique and important individual and I alone have the power to
change my life enabled me to find the courage I needed in order to break the cycle of
abuse before it got passed on to my children. Now Jakob and Cassidee will not have to
relive the same sort of experiences that have plagued our family for generations.
If I can help even one individual come to the realisation that everything is possible if you
believe in yourself, then I have succeeded in my purpose. As well, if after reading my
book, just one person gains a deeper understanding of his or her own personal power, I
will have accomplished what I set out to do.
I would not be the happy, healthy, emotionally grounded woman and mother that I am
today if not for the invaluable help of some very compassionate individuals.
