ROLE MODELS
Up until April 2019, Kim was the Head of Leadership, Learn-
ing, Talent and Culture (LLT&C) for Barclays Internation-
al. After 15 exciting years at Barclays, she is currently on a
sabbatical considering options for her next role. Kim joined
Barclays Investment Banking in March 2004, initially as
Head of Lateral Recruiting. Throughout her time at Bar-
clays, Kim led many “Talent” oriented functions such as Re-
cruiting, Leadership development, Talent and succession
planning, Performance management, Cultural change and
Diversity across both the Front office and Infrastructure ar-
eas of Barclays globally. Before joining Barclays, Kim spent
Kimberley Matalon 10 years as a consultant within the Financial Services prac-
tice of Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Kim has a BSc in Economics
Managing Director from Wharton as well as an MBA from Stanford University.
Kymberlie is the Chief Marketing Officer at Telefóni-
ca Open Future & Wayra UK, a corporate entrepre-
neurship network that supports over 1,400 com-
panies worldwide. After 21 years of being a BBC
Broadcast Journalist, Kymberlie has become free-
lance as now runs a full time business that focuses
on delivering Public Speaking, Presentation, Media
and Pitching workshops to diplomats, charities, cor-
porates, celebrities and young people. Kymberlie
has been an active mentor for Communication Mat-
ters, supporting young people with complex com- Kymberlie Andrew
munication needs and if needed social mobility. Chief Marketing Officer
Leonora is a Managing Director at Credit Suisse (Risk
Division). She is Head of Recovery Management Inter-
national for EMEA and Asia Pacific and manages de-
faulted and stressed Investment Banking and Private
Banking portfolios (excluding Switzerland) with the
goal of maximising recoveries, protecting reputation
and minimising potential litigation risks. Leonora is a
Reputational Risk Approver and is also currently Ad-in-
terim head of Reputational Risk for EMEA.Leonora
joined Credit Suisse in ‘98 as a Vice President in Credit
Risk Management. Previously Leonora worked at Leh-
Leonora Daniel man Brothers for seven years. Additionally, she is also a
Managing Director Director on the Board of a mortgage company.
Lorna is an Executive Director, Global CAO Risk & Capital
Technology in Investment Banking. A finance profession-
al is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Ac-
countants and holds an MBA from Manchester Business
School. Lorna graduated with an honours bachelor’s
degree in Accounting & Finance and a member of the
Chartered Institute for Securities Investment. Lorna has
30 years’ experience working in financial services cover-
ing finance, strategy and regulation. Lorna has held NED
roles previously for small organisations providing financial
expertise and currently actively support the Diversity & In-
clusion programme in her current organisation focussing Lorna Hinds-Sotomey
on LGBT and gender balance in banking and technology. Executive Director
